This one has potential. I wonder if he can keep it simple?

The people who gave us golf and called it a game are the same people who gave us bag pipes and called it music and haggis and called it food.

Are you happy now?

Move over, you have company, and I just received 3 new cookbooks. It's the same price at Jessica's and Amazon. At least we'll get free shipping.

Yes, but cooking is my therapy, which requires a constant infusion of new cookbooks, which makes me want to cook, which makes me want more cookbooks ... you see the problem. There are times when I envy my friends who don't make anything other than reservations. ;^)
And while we're at it, I do not understand how anyone who is a scientist and who is as proficient as you are when it comes to baking beautiful breads can't bake a cake. Perhaps you simply don't have the right baking books. I can recommend a few ...

How's that saying? The pot calling something black? Well, I won't be able to get it right, but... perhaps you can understand what I mean....

Me, too, I wouldn't be surprised if a year from now she transforms into a master cake baker and decorator. Sally probably just hasn't found the right-for-her books yet ;-)

Or maybe Leila Lindholm's 'A Piece of Cake' (my newest addition, very casual, love it)? Not that I would ever try to talk anyone into one more cookbook.... http://www.amazon.com/Piece-Cake-Leila-Lindholm/dp/1847734456/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1252403623&sr=1-1

I sent the link to my friend in California, and she's excited. Thanks very much.
