I'm seriously tempted! How far are you from Shannon Airport? Oh, and BTW, you seem to live in one of the few areas of the world where google earth does not have good resolution (same as where we live)
Resist the temptation to over-clean. After all, how many times do you need to kill the same germ.

We're about an hour from Shannon. We live in Kilshanny, in Co. Clare. On Friday night the party may be in a nearby pub, with lots of tunes. Roz may not even go since she doesn't much care for the pub.
Saturday (her birthday) Roz is taking me out to a nice restaurant for *my* birthday, which we never got to celebrate. Maybe when my b-day rolls around (August) I'll take her out to dinner. In Ireland many of the good restaurants close down for the winter.

Rats, I checked all possibilities - included the dreaded RyanAir. No luck, no flights on those days from Frankfurt. Dublin would be doable, but no good connections to Shannon. Oh well I'll raise a glass westwards on that evening for you two :-)

Thanks. Maybe we'll come and visit you? Is there any Irish music out there?

Hmmm, come to think of it, I believe that there is. A couple of times every year I see ads for concerts of a band called Shamrock Duo, or something like that. Sounds irish enough :-)
You're welcome here anytime! We're about an hour's drive from Frankfurt/Hahn airport, where Ryanair flies into a few times a week from Shannon.

I'd love to join you -- alas,it will have to be in spirit only, so I'll raise a glass of Bushmill's best in her honour.
