Recent Fixes
1. “Save” button now reads “Post” everywhere, not just original posts.
2. The link in private messages and comment notification is now completely functional.
3. A WYSIWYG editor has been added so you can format your text without HTML; spell check will be added to the editor momentarily.
In Progress
(Note: Some In Progress fixes and upgrades could be complete as early as next week).
1. Design and Layout: The orange will be replaced by an easier-to-read color. You’ll see boxes around replies and comments, and you’ll be able to adjust the font size. We’re removing the right-hand column; this will allow the page to expand as your window expands (no more overlapping buttons).
2. Customization: You will be able to configure your view of discussions the way you want: new vs. old first, threaded or flat. You decide.
3. Recent Discussions: We’ll add some new functionality to the Recent Discussions block. You’ll be able to shrink or expand it, as wells as navigate to posts within that folder.
4. Breadcrumbs: Breadcrumbs will display at top and bottom of page, so you’ll always know where you are.
5. Replies: Much like Mzinga’s old numbers, each reply will display a link: “In reply to X,”. This makes it especially easy to navigate in a flat view. We’re also adding a “Subject” field to replies, which gives every reply a headline. It’ll be filled in automatically if you don’t enter a subject.
6. Edit: We’re still working on a fix that will allow you to edit a comment or reply once someone has replied to you.
Thanks to everyone who keeps checking back to see what's new.
