I recently purchased a mini bundt pan that makes 4 cakes.  There were no baking instructions included.  Is there a way to calculate how long to bake them?

Hi mjmiller
I LOVE those cute little cakes!!

Make sure to fill the pans evenly -- so they bake in the same time period -- and never fill over 2/3's of the way up the pan (this is a general rule for all cakes). I'd guess you'll get 10 to 12 mini cakes out of 1 bundt recipe but this will vary depending on the recipe.
On to baking your minis:
As with all recipes -- FC's included -- the most important part of the recipe are the doneness clues that the author has provided. If your pans are the 1-cup size, I'd suggest you begin testing for doneness after about 20 minutes. Depending on the recipe, they could take up to 35 minutes.
Don't forget to make margin notes of your yield and timing so the next time you're baking minis, you'll remember what work!
