Morning,

Whatever you have in the signature box in your profile will show up as your signature. Right now you have, "my mysterious signature is gone." Before, you had some odd code showing up there; I assumed it was carried over from the old setup and simply didn't translate in the new.

I figured that out and I am not sure why it showed up, but it took me a couple of attempts to get rid of it...While I have your attention, any chance of having spell check back?

Good catch, but your proofreading skills are lacking since you didn't catch the entire mistake.

Just another simple frustration to this site that has yet to be cured, but I can wait and I don't always catch my mistakes, like many others. I just am not so quick to point the finger.

I miss spellcheck too! It’s on the list, but one of those things the developers have to implement for all the forums universally, so it'll take some time.

Take some time, excuse me, but that is laughable. I would have thought that spell check would have been high on the list of improvements to this site and I can't understand what is taking so long. It certainly would be nice to have the convenience of spell check, saves a little time and we could avoid comments by snarky perfectionists.

It is sad to see that this site is a ghost town with so many fine people that were dedicated members for so many years, gone and I fear for the most part that it will be a permanent move because this process has taken way too long and the changes and excuses since you all started this process are not for the better.

Everyone at CooksTalk Classic is quite comfortable with the old format, not that we haven't endured several changes over the years and only a few drift over to this site from time to time. With a considerable loss of participants here at CooksTalk, I would certainly question those that suggested this sad format and drastic changes and I would fire the bunch of idiots left to do the nasty chore. We have never seen or experienced anything like this debacle.

No, I didn't spell check to the best of my ability!
