New?
I opened the Cooking Discussion. 'What's Cooking' had 16 new messages to me. I opened it. The thread is 3 pages. There were no 'new' messages at all in the individual posts. What's up with that?
Is there any way to read the messages 'flat'? Anyone remember when CT first started and the messages were listed one after the other? Is there an option to read it like that?
I can't check this site at home. I'm on dial-up and it takes an incredibly long time for it to load, I'm hoping reading it 'flat' will help.
Thanks!
But, but, it's SUPPOSED to taste like that!

Is it just a setting somewhere? (post #70446, reply #1 of 2)
Is there some sort of notification setting that is set to notify you of "any" response?
This discussion didn't even (post #70446, reply #2 of 2)
This discussion didn't even show up on my board (not logged in). But once you get past the first page the "new" tag no longer shows up--at least that has been the way it was, and to my knowledge they never paid any attention to it, or said it couldn't be changed. Like lots of things.
