Grilled Pizza Dough Recipe Clarification (post #70226)

The "Pzza Dough For The Grill" recipe you have posted online from the September 2004 issue indicates 1.4 cups of olive oil, but that seems like a lot olive oil in comparison to other dough recipes. Is this an error? Should the amount be 1/4 cup? (It also seems odd to indicate a measurement as a decimal rather than a fraction) Please help. Thanks!

Clarification (and Thanks!) (post #70226, reply #1 of 5)
Thanks so much, 1foodie. Indeed, 1.4 cups is a typo. The amount should be 1/4 cup of olive oil. I'm hoping the 5-star reviewers assumed the error and used the 1/4 cup! The recipe is fixed now. Thanks again for calling attention to the typo so it could be fixed. Also, if you're interested, check out the how-to video we made last summer when grilled pizza was all the rage (it still is around here!).

Hey Robyn!
While you are at it, the new recipe for tea-smoked shrimp has this typo:
"1/4 cup light brown suga"
and the first line of the instructions make no sense:
"In a 4-quart pot, simmer 1/2 dissolved, about 1 minute. "
Here is the recipe:

I know this is the new build of 106, so you can fix it before the new issue comes out! Ha, this is much more fun than the scientific jargon I usually have to edit! Of course, being an editor, I can't stop-- I have been known to mark up magazines and newspapers in red pen.

P.S. I've really been enjoying trolling the new 106 recipes-- I'm having a hard time deciding what to make next-- the turnovers were a big hit with the whole family! We love noodle soups too, so this is on the list.

Robyn, yhat is great, I am thinking about trying that recipe with tofu as my crew does not like shrimp. Tea-smoked tofu, hmm... I think surface area will be key.
