I thought the survey was good. I love Tauton publications but have been a fan of Cooks Illustrated until lately. I began receiving the email notices of a recipe every now and then from Fine Cooking and that contact won me over. Just being reminded now and then of ideas for delicious meals has made me a big fan. I do love understanding WHY recipes work or don't work. Your survey had no space for qualitative need those when you are trying to discover the emotions of your readers. But keep that contact coming and you have a new fan!  Tell Taunton to take this approach with all its magazines!
