My niece brought three black truffles to me from Italy. I have no idea what to do to get the best use of them. I need ideas. Help?

Oh my, what a treat! (post #70486, reply #1 of 3)
I recently watched an episode of Masterchef and Cat Cora made a truffled halibut with a corn zabaglione that looked just fabulous! As I recall it was her recipe for pan seared halibut etc. with grated truffle to finish. Risottto would be good and Ina had a suggestion for truffle butter on one of her shows. Here is a sample recipe only, http://whatscookingamerica.net/Sauces_Condiments/TruffleButter.htm
I have a couple of her books, but here is a link. http://tinyurl.com/22tjzyv

Hi kyrose--
Have you ever checked out tastespotting? You can search for black truffles.

Do post what you make-- not that I will have any truffles anytime soon!
