Me five.  And, I can't wait for blueberry season.  The blueberry crisp on the cover looks delish!  :-)

Me 6!

After only skimming, I love the article on sweet onions. I have 15 of them on hand just waiting to be used.

Also, the fresh from the farm menu looks like a contender for Mother's Day dinner, at least in part.

I got blackberries last week at Sam's and made a cobbler using a recipe post here.  It was very good.  a cake like topping that went well with the ice cream. The Grands loved it.

Mine came Friday :)

Mine comes to my place of work. So, the staff gets to enjoy it as well as do I. THey look through it over lunch and put in dibs for recipes before I then bring it home when I go home.

I got mine yesterday too.  I don't know why, but I get quite excited when I see something I aleady have featured.  This time it was the Baggu bags which I actually got in the mail today.  I didn't pay 8 bucks for each of them though.  LOL  Haven't used them yet, but they seem sturdy.  I also have and love the stacked racks on page 28.  You can get lots of cookies on them and there is enough room between to get them in there easlily.

I've bookmarked the Lemon-Buttermilk Pudding cakes, just because it sounds summery.  I want to do the basil butter and the Chunky Tomato-Basil Vinaigrette in the pull out.  I'm going to smoke tomatoes tomorrow, so maybe I'll try a smoked version.

But, but, it's SUPPOSED to taste like that!

Those stacked racks caught my eye, too. I just made the baked beans with chorizo as husband requested. They're in the fridge now and have to be simmered tomorrow. Can't wait!

Me seven.

Liked the ideas for the meza, the baked beans and the veggie sides. Starting to see a few of the summer veggies showing up in the market.

The blueberry-lime pound cake sounded nice. Anyone know if I could bake that in a loaf pan? Don't own a bundt pan.

Me nil, as usual I will have to wait for at least two weeks, when all the exciting discoveries have been made, until the postman darkens my door. C'est la vie as they say in Bulgaria.

Well, it's over the border to me in Toronto, so the prairie people can expect it within weeks :) Looks like a good issue but I'm not reading it until I get all my work done. I'm not. Really.

Blew in on New Mexico winds today.  Now I can put down the last issue of Food & Wine I was lured into by the words "world's best recipes" on the cover -- NOT.

It arrived here in Tucson, probably by horse...

BTW, I am taking my 8 years of Cooks Illustrated to our local half price bookstore. Time to get rid of them. However, I will never part with my FC...

For maybe the first time ever, my issue arrived yesterday!!  My husband has a blueberry patch (raspberries as well), so I think that some of them are destined to be in any one of those desserts, which all sound awesome!
