Save button still here--latest "fix" is not real  (post #69271)

In what's become the fine tradition at CT, another much touted fix to this moribund site isn't really a fix at all. On Feb 11 we're told "the 'save' button now reads post so there'll be no confusion about how to make an orginal post public."

But alas, the button is still called save.

And now when I log in to reply to a post, then want to reply to a second, the system tells me I'm not logged in so I'm unable to reply to any other posts.

Really a conversation killer.

2-1/2 months of waiting for improvements, and all we get is one that doesn't actually work.

Unbelievable. And the list of stuff in progress has changed - some of it makes no freakin sense to me.

They are going to do this thing their way no matter how much we ******. We are just wasting our breath.

It's here now but it doesn't show when you start a thread. Guess they decided to just change it in one place and not everywhere.

It wasn't there earlier, so they fixed it after Kathy pointed out it wasn't really fixed.

@Kathy & All: The "Save" button was changed to "Post" last week for original posts, that is, new posts, the one that starts the discussion off. Indeed, it still said "Save" when a person commented or replied to something this weekend, but it looks like the button indeed says "Post" all around now.
