Thanks (post #69782, reply #1 of 4)
It’s true, “new” is still an issue across all our forums (it’s not just CooksTalk!) and unfortunately, it’s probably the biggest thing preventing our veteran posters from coming back full-time right now. We’ve made some progress with the forums; we need to make more.
And, to clarify something Steve wrote to the Over-The-Fencers, while “new” seems hopeless because its problems have been so persistent, it will be fixed, eventually. The problem is that it can’t be fixed by an editor like Steve or a FineCooking.com producer like me or Sarah. The fix has to come from Taunton’s developers. They’ve been trying to crack this nut from the beginning and it’s complicated, to say the least.
I’ll make sure the developers see the post on FG. You are being heard, even if there’s nothing I can do to immediately fix the problem.
Thanks again. I appreciate it.

I hope so, but I can't promise anything in the immediate future. Right now, I'll be pretty pleased if we can get "new" working reliably in the various places it exists.
You seriously think that's (post #69782, reply #4 of 4)

You seriously think that's what stopping people from coming back?? LMAO
