We put them all together so you could ignore the threads...or NOT!  I'm afraid I have been sucked in by the enablers, also.

I think Sally is bemoaning the existence of this folder, since it means she is often led into temptation. ;-)

Trip was nice. Except saying goodbye at the end, my Mom gets VERY emotional, and by the time I finally get into the taxi I am bawling my eyes out. OH, well... I'm more or less used to it now.

It is good to be home. Very stressful to be in Sao Paulo in the final weeks before CHristmas - "crazy" and "hectic" do not quite describe it.
:-)

We were lucky with the weather and lucky with coming back - the airports in Brazil are a mess. THat horrible accident between a jet with American pilots and a Brazilian plane uncovered a HUGE problem with air travel, from controllers to lack of funding for equipment, monitoring. So the airports are a little bit like Denver, except that the weather is nice. The planes don t take off for different reasons. We were a bit worried coming back, but international flights are not affected to the same extent. We actually took off from Sao Paulo right on time, arrived in Houston early, and arrived in OKC 15 minutes earlier than predicted.

Now, I only have a small jet lag to deal with - but 4 hours is not that much anyway :-)
