I got this book a few weeks ago - love it! Made the Coq au Vin and it was one of the best I've ever had... the addition of cocoa powder to the sauce at the very end does it

Also made a fennel salad - simplicity in itself, only four ingredients - outstanding!

Chicken in caramel sauce - very very good too.

So far, I am very pleased by the book - some reader's reviews were not good, they complained of "awful recipes" like "tongue salad", and too exotic ingredients. Methinks  the book is great.
