the Pastry Queen--want it?

Jean's picture

DD brought this one home from Texas for me. It's recipes from the Rather Sweet Bakery and Cafe, a favorite haunt while she was staying in Frederickburg. Yes, they are relatives of Dan Rather. I didn't have the heart to tell her I already own the book, soooo does anyone want my spare?  First come first serve.

She also brought a bottle of Fischer and Wieser's Roasted Raspberry and Chipotle Sauce. Yum. And a bag of mixed wild flower seeds, and a 2009 calendar from Big Bend National Park.

But that last stuff is not up for grabs. :)

Sounds delicious, but it will have to go to someone who isn't trying to lose half a Sallly! I seem to be stuck at about 1/4 Sally and can't get any lower.  Oh well, I keep telling myself it didn't come on overnight, and won't go away overnight.

That Fischer and Wieser is GOOD STUFF!!! if you've got any left by Thanksgiving(doubtful!), try it on a turkey sandwich. In the meantime, baked brie. oh, so many great ways to eat it!

I wouldn't post my full name and address on the internet.  Just my paranoia, maybe, but you might want to email them to Jean and delete your post.

The calendar should keep very nicely in your freezer until 2009.You have room, 'cause I've seen a picture. <G>

You were very good not to tell DD that you were already in possession of a copy of the book.
