Oh, wow!  I remember going to the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, FL and realizing how much I liked his art--spectacularly strange.  I'd add the book to my Amazon list, but it's just a tad pricey for my library.  *L*

Oooh!  I've been there too, pretty amazing seeing it in person.

But, but, it's SUPPOSED to taste like that!

I've been too.
I found the docents to be amazing, volunteers, and sooo knowledgeable.

Ooh, an exclusively American word, docent, doesn't exist in British English. Learn stuff every day!

He said he looked in amazon, but got it on ebay for much cheaper - the book is in great condition, maybe the dust cover shows its age a little, but that's about it

very interesting book - some recipes I would never even consider trying - meatballs made with calf's lungs? :-)

there is a whole section on "aphrodisiac meals" - that Dali entitles
"I eat Gala"

is that cool or what? :-)

Wow!  That's great!  I live in Clearwater, near St. Pete and I've got to get down to the Dali Museum.  I hear so much about it but it's like the Statue of Liberty if you're a New Yorker - people can't believe you haven't gone.

What a great gift!

Been to the Dali & have a pewter "melting clock" keychain that I carry to this day.

I assume the recipes are Spanish - can you describe the book?
