Thank you very much for your quick response and the recipe!  This is some Cesear Salad.  Will definitely give it a try.  Have you ever cut in half or even in thirds?

Oh yes, I've never made it for 12, I usually make it for 4.  But I do make custard enough for about 6 as I've been known to destroy them ;)

I have the book - gorgeous food photography. It's definitely along the lines of French Laundry & Boucheron.

Not sure if I will ever make Octopus carpaccio but I will attempt some of the others. It's the plating artistry that I admire the most.

"Fast Food" & "Sunday Lunch" have great recipes but the graphics are over the top, terrible tone on tone color choices for fonts making them hard to read. "Cooking for Friends" is fabulous and a much better design.
