Back Issue #82 (post #62997)

Hello All-

New to this whole "posting" business, so if I am in the wrong spot, I apologize.  I was wondering if anyone can help me out with back issues- you see I have a good collection of FINE COOKING magazines, but recently lost a couple- one of which is sold out from the website.  Does anybody have, and is willing to part with, an extra copy of FINE COOKING #82- I think its Dec. 2006.  Even if someone can point me in the right direction, it would be very helpful...thanks very much in advance!

zilla - please go back and delete your email address or you might get tons of spam.  Anyone from this site who wants to email you can do so through Taunton.  Now, as far as the back issues go, perhaps someone here will have that one and be willing to sell it to you or give it to you.  The other option is to check eBay.  Sometimes people list back issues there for a reasonable price.

thanks for the helpful advice- you seem very nice, so if you have any resources and can help me out, I would be very grateful...I swear I am not a crazy person, just a passionate cook- and as far as the e-mail goes, I am usually very cautious, just figured I was among friends, lol- I guess nobody is safe from spam!

I don't think anyone here would spam you, but there are programs which search web sites like this and pick up email addresses.  Thanks for the compliment.  I'm really a grumpy old woman, but I try!

Edited to add a welcome to Cooks Talk, and you should stick around.  We need all the passionate people we can find, and we learn from one another.  Edited again because I cannot type since I tried to cut my finger off with a mandoline.  Please forgive any typos.

Well, that's another excuse not to pull that stupid piece of equipment out of the cupboard!!  I'm bad enough with my brand new MAC chefs knife, which I dearly love, but it is VERY sharp!!!  Have to keep telling self, Go Slowly, no rush!!!  Hard for me, as patience is not one of my virtues!!!  Anyhow, hope the finger is better!

I have about 15 years worth of Fine Cooking and some Cooks magazines.
Free to a good home, lots of great ideas and things to cook.

I have made a lot of money in my life. Most of it I spent on women and boats. The rest I simply wasted!!

Are you in Hudson Valley NY?  That's where my parents live.

But, but, it's SUPPOSED to taste like that!
