Yesterday I tried to change my profile picture. I deleted the old one, logged off, logged back on, when I tried to upload new picture it kept loading the original back instead of the new picture. Dallas

I tried messing around with this (look I'm a pie)-- thanks for the reminder that I should upload a photo. It seemed to be okay for me, but I haven't logged off yet.

Okay, I tried to change it. If I am appearing as a whole apple pie, then it did not change. If I am a slice of blueberry-peach pie, then it did change. I have to log out and see.

Edited to add: It seems to have worked for me. I had to go through two rounds of changes, re-entering my password each time. First I deleted the apple pie, then I uploaded the blueberry pie.

I'm glad it worked-- I am going back to the whole apple pie, as the slice gets cropped funny in the square format.

Edited to add that it took three tries to upload the dang thing and the pictures are not showing anyway. Ah, computers-- they do make our lives better.

No photos are showing in any of these posts, just that same weird male silhouette that is the default.
Hope they get rid of the photos altogether.

I wouldn't mind getting rid of the photo's either, sure makes this load and move faster without it. It's agony at home on dial-up.

But, but, it's SUPPOSED to taste like that!

It's sort of nice to see them once, but in an ongoing thread they just add to the height of every post and then that means more of what Gretchen calls the BIG SCROLL.

And if it's just a placeholder silhouette, really really want them to go away. Mine makes me look like a man, ferchrissakes.

Profile pictures seem to have disappeared. I'm seeing none of them. @Robyn: Did you change something?

The pictures seem to come and go unpredictably. When I first opened this thread, they were gone-- now they are back. Sigh.

@Steven: No, I haven't made any changes myself, but our the developers have been steadily working on all the forums to implement our phase I fixes and updates. I wouldn't be surprised it they've been testing. I'll find out next week.
