Our under counter 'Space Saver' can opener quit working. I looking for a replacement. Any suggestions? By the way, I am not sure how to use the search function of this new and improved site.

I LOVE my Krups "unsealer" type. I just keep it in a drawer and plug it in when I need it. I think it came with a wall hanger station.
The search is "working" people say, but I could never get it to work on the old site.
A REALLY good place to look for recommendations on all appliances is on Amazon's reviews of products.

I have a krups also and find myself reaching for it more often lately since my hands are losing strength. I do have more trouble getting it seated than Rod does. Is there a trick to it that I should know? I have to open a lot of cans for my version of chili. :)

I just try to get mine level with the top of the can and the little platform and push it to start--it usually engages pretty well. Sort of hard to explain too! ;o)
