Our girls have arrived!

BoofyQ's picture

Just a brief note to let you know our twins arrived by semi-emergency csection on Tuesday the 17th (at a happy 37 weeks, 6 days)! We had gone to the hospital to start a gentle induction, with the plan of delivering on the 19th, but after a few mild contractions, Baby B's heartrate dictated a change of plans!

Claire Margarite arrived at 11:04am, 6lb 12oz, 18.5"
Eleanor Paige arrived at 11:05am, 5lb 10oz, 18.5"
Both girls have huge quantities of beautiful black hair. We're home now and slowly getting the hang of things. Sleep is at a premium but we're finding time as we can. Fortunately my folks are here for a bit to help.

Will add some pictures when I get time!

Those girls seem quite big for being twins and being born so early.  Congratulations to you, your DH, and your beautiful girls (I know they're beautiful, and can't wait to see pictures!)

Wonderful!!  That's so great that she was able to carry them for so long and that they're so big.  A thousand Blessings on your home.  Tell your wife we said, "Great work, Momma!"
