Just wanted to let you know that our absolutely gorgeous son Noah was born last Tuesday at 9.47 am by C-section. He's the sweetest baby on the planet, and after some problems in feeding and recovery, we're back at home, healthy and happy and generally just being completely in awe of this little miracle :o).

MArco made tons of pictures that I still need to upload to the computer when I get another free minute, but you can believe me when I tell you he's just beatiful :o).

I hated everything about the C-section and recovery sucks, but we're getting there, one little step at a time. He is totally worth it. I'll try to post pictures soon!!!

Congratulations to you and Marco! Can't wait to see pics of baby Noah. Hope your recovery is quick. But as a new mother recovering from birth, there is not much that should take your mind and body away from your new little one. Take it easy!

!!!!!!!!!!YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!!!!

I'm absolutely thrilled for all three of you!!!  Fabulous news!

And how do YOU feel, Mama?  Everything healing fine?  I'll bet you are tired a lot.  Don't forget to drink LOTS of liquids.   I drank gatoraide and a bunch of other sports drinks by the case the first month or so.   And don't try to do too much, okay?  Learning to have a baby around is a lot of work.

Oh, I'm so happy for you!  Can't wait to see Noah!  I adore little boys!

Statesmen will invent cheap lies, putting blame upon the nation that is attacked, and every man will be glad of those conscience-soothing falsities, and will diligently study them, and refuse to examine any refutations of them; and thus he will by and by convince himself that the war is just, and will thank God for the better sleep he enjoys after this process of grotesque self-deception.

So wonderful :)

remember to sleep when th baby sleeps which helps to avoid the baby blues. It was the wisest advice I got from friends.

Yes, Csections are not fun; give yourself time to heal. I was one of those anesthesia failures, i.e. the drug did not work, but I was unable to speak as to tell the doctor, so I felt the entire Csection cutting. I didnt tell you before your Csection so as to not scare you...

How did they know you weren't "out"?

For me, I couldnt talk or move: The anesthesia had me unable to do that, but yet I could feel it all.

I had an epidural...I could talk and move.  My husband was sitting next to me and I told him...."now they are using scissors!!"  The doctor asked me if I could hold on just another minute for the baby's sake.....and of course I did.  Then they gave me gas and I don't remember a thing.  Next thing I knew I woke up in a recovery room by myself and the nurse came in.  I had to ask her what I had and when she said I had a boy, I told her...I don't think so....I only make girls....(I had two of them already!!!)

As soon as they brought Jason to me, I undressed him because I still didn't believe it!!  He's my Marine!!
