Frustrated....

SallyBR's picture

Folks, things are not going that great

I am overly busy and with very limited time to enjoy CT - it would be possible to enjoy it in the old format, but at the present time I just don t have the energy and frame of mind to learn the new tricks of the trade.

So, I say goodbye for the time being - on Sat we leave for a frantic 10 days seminars trip and I won t even get near a computer until our return.

When I come back, maybe you all will be experts on the new nest, and will speed up my learning curve with good tips and advice. I have a terrible time following the conversations and don t know how to re-read something.

Keep your fingers crossed for me, my big talk is on Mon afternoon and I have lotsa butterflies in my stomach. :-)

Au revoir!

Au revoir!  Have a good seminar and when you come back you'll have more time to play around in here.  It's not so difficult when you get the hang of it.

That I am!  This is exciting, unless of course you are sending back the unused portion of sauerkruat?  Will watch for it, take care.

Don't be gone too long, Sally.  I know it's frustrating, but we would miss you very much if you were gone for too long, okay?

The correct reply was "cam(14) I am."

Sally - have a great trip, and if you can figure out how to get that armoire in your suitcase, you know where I live!

Give the new format another try when you get back...I'm actually getting used to it...except for the darn "continue" button.  I still think that's unnecessary - they could start indexing for a search when you hit post...who needs an extra click?

Insist on the real MadMom - accept no substitutes!

thanks

I actually wanted to thank everybody, but don t know how - I mean, everybody who replied to my post, not everybody everybody... well, not that I don t want to talk to the others... oh,well - this is getting too complicated!  It's hard to be politically correct, I guess....

In fact, I don t even LIKE to be PC

I logged in yesterday and today, but still find it all too hard to follow - I will take MadMom's advice and when I'm back you guys will have to give me some help. Like when I log in, all I see are five or so messages, I guess those are "recent". But I don t know how to get the forums, like Ipke, General posts etc etc

Hey, don t even bother trying to help me now - I just wanted to say thank you and ask for your positive vibes on Monday.... it's kind of exciting to visit that place, though. Too bad I have to give a talk, would be much nicer if I could just relax and talk to people informally.

OH,well... life gives you a lemon, you make lemonade

Have fun while I'm gone! But save some for later....
