Afraid to ask....
How are things going here? I read a few posts, it seems to me traffic is still way down, I was surprised to see Ipke and Cooking Discussions had nothing posted for many hours, quite a change from pre-change days
From some of the posts, it seems that now we can get email notification.... If someone could be so kind and reply to this, I'd appreciate it.
I still had some trouble finding "new" posts, but I'll try to find out if I'm doing something wrong, maybe there's some hidden setting I need to change?

The "update" on what they are working on is in the box on the right. There is some traffic here. It's just too hard to find stuff in long threads. Stick to the short threads. If it goes to a second page, the "new" sticker is wiped out so you have to look for the name or the date, after you peruse ALL the messages you have already read. Sorry. And apparently that is not a fixable item--at least from a post about Drupal's platform from 2006 that someone found. I wonder if RDA or JR (the IT people) know that.

Notification isn't working yet and Taunton is aware of it. It's not clear to me if the notification is an e-mail sent to your addy or notification to your inbox here.

Sally people aren't really posting here very much these days, I think everyone's taking a wait-and-see approach to how the functionality might improve in the coming weeks. Taunton has posted in the upper right the things they're working on, but we're not clear on how long various things will take.
I would think it's not realistic to see much change for a few weeks due to the number of things they need to do and the holidays, which are basically here.

As for traffic here ((shrugs)) I think Facebook has taken a bite out of many forums. This may be one of them. Frankly, I don't understand why this phenomenon exists because FB is a social networking site and this is a cooking site. The two need not be mutually exclusive.

The error message said it didn't recognize my e-mail address. If I were already a Delphi member, it would recognize my e-mail addy. It hasn't changed in 15 years. No idea why I can't get in under my own name. :(
