Ice Cream Recipe ....

I'm looking for the ice cream recipes that were in an early issue of Fine Cooking. (Perhaps 1994 or so).  I can't seem to find the issue in my immense pile of Fine Cooking magazines.

One thing that made the recipes unique was the use of skim milk powder to increase the protine content.  I don't really remember what flavors the recipes were for as I always modified the base recipe to fit what I was making.

What am I making this time around? Vanilla ice cream made with real Tahitian vanilla beans (I visited the vanilla plantation a few years ago which is pretty cool). The Vanilla will be a dominant flavor whereas most vanilla ice creams are cream ice cream with a tad of vanilla flavor.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Art, do you have the Delphi address? This site is dead now. We'd love to see you on the replacement site where everyone has gone.

I wondered where everyone went to. It has been awhile since I checked in -- being super super busy with the chocolate factory and all. So it was really disappointing seeing the forums had died down so significantly.

Also, I found the article I was looking for..... It was in the August September issue of 1995.  One good thing came of this though, I was able to sort out all my issues of Fine Cooking.  I have them in order by year now. This evening, I'm going to go through them and see if there are any I'm missing.
