Hi,

I can't find a recipe for a beef heart stew on the website. Are there any recipes for beef hearts on finecooking.com, if not can someone recommend an online source?

Hi galeb,

I am a longterm subscriber to Fine Cooking and have never seen a beef heart recipe, so I suspect your search results are correct.

There are not many beef heart recipes out there-- even the usually reliable tastespotting.com turned up only 3.  However, one looked promising:

Good luck-- how did you end up with a beef heart?  Lose a bet?  Or buy a whole cow?

I see them sold in ethnic/Latino markets so I imagine some cuisine such as that will be the best source. I can't paste the link on this site but if you google just beef heart you will have plenty of possibilities.
