ANSWER to looking for cracker/biscotti recipe

Because of a glitch in this wonderful site, there was no "reply" button so I am answering it here. And also because I am on a slow connection today, I can't search for you. BUT search for "rain coast crisps" and a recipe similar to what you want will come up. Also Peter Reinhart has a wonderful whole grain cracker recipe. Neither of these will be biscotti types. They are rolled out and cut.

Gretchen, you don't have a (post #70891, reply #1 of 6)

Gretchen, you don't have a "Reply to Post" button?  Guess you won't be able to reply to my post then.  :·o

The rain coast crisp type crackers are baked in small loaf form (similar to biscotti) and then slice über thin and slow baked and dried.

Gretchen, thanks for recommending these-- my daughter wants to make crackers and I have been eyeing this recipe!

Glitch? (post #70891, reply #3 of 6)

Is it possible, Gretchen, that the "Reply to Post" button is there and you missed it? Are you not seeing the little brown button to the left, under each post? It's working for me and for others who have replied to the post. If it truly is a glitch, could you take a screenshot and send it to me so I can troubleshoot?

Thanks,

Robyn

It's there now. I'm back home. Our beach wi=fi is a total disaster.

I ended up using small loafs (post #70891, reply #5 of 6)

I ended up using small loafs pans, cooling, slicing super-thin and then baking again. They're exactly what I was looking for!

Now- I just need to figure the nutritional info!

Thanks guys!
