Like old times is right, with the rabble rousing loud and long and demanding instant revisions of things we don't like. Maybe we should all take a collective deep breath and quit bellyaching while they sort through what has already been posted.

I think I'll go play in the kitchen. DH bought me the new super 3 bowled Quisinart. What a marvel of engineering it is! I'm going to love it!!

What a great DH!!!! (post #67996, reply #6 of 11)

What a great DH!!!! Unfortunately one won't fit under the cupboards, not like he was actually thinking of getting me one!!! Mine is in great shape, so don't really need one, but they sure look wonderful. Enjoy!

What a great gift! You will (post #67996, reply #7 of 11)

What a great gift! You will love it. I agree that everyone has already stated their displeasure over the new software. Now, relax and let the gurus at Taunton do their jobs...

Kinda reminds me of the book, Who Moved My Cheese. Change is hard and I sincerely hope that this gets straightened out. I joined in '97 and have gone through all the changes here and at Breaktime. If it's any consolation, the grumbling has already started at Breaktime and I fear more.........:)

Oh Jean that is so exciting (post #67996, reply #8 of 11)

Oh Jean that is so exciting about your new FP. I am about to get one too, my company gave me two $150 gift cards so that should about cover it. Did you get the one with the 14-cup largest bowl or the 16-cup?
You will have to keep me posted on what you try with it. I only have a mini FP now so can't wait to get a "grownup" one.

It's the 16 cup. DH is impressed with the design too. It is so completely improved from my old 14 cup model. The DVD that comes with it has a running time of 1 1/4 hours. Can't wait to settle down to watch it tonight.

So Jean do you think having (post #67996, reply #10 of 11)

So Jean do you think having the larger 16-cup is essential? SLT has the 14-cup and it's very close by. WS is the only place that has the 16-cup but it's about a 45 min drive. But I don't want to get the smaller one and then find there are things I can't fit in it. Advice appreciated.
And the DVD, that will be great. For many years now I've avoided recipes that start with "Using a food processor ..." So I need a tutorial!
