4. Make your changes.
5. Click Preview or Save.

Still a mystery because I don't seem to have an edit tab.
Edit to add that immediately after posting there is an edit link which I can use, but going back to older posts there is no edit opportunity

The edit tab appears at the top if you were the original poster. Are you not getting an edit tab when you look at a post you created? When you're replying to a post, that's when your edit link/button lives as an option at the bottom of your reply (which you already know ;)).

Once someone has posted after you, the edit tab is removed, we are confirming now for Robyn.
I can edit this. And this is a second edit, and the edit tab is still there. I suspect if someone else comes along, it will disappear.

On the upside, this bug is not new and is in the works for the Phase I batch of fixes.
