Color (post #68191)

Ok, all of you seem to hate the orange color. It doesn't bother me, but what color would you like?

The problem is, I think (post #68191, reply #3 of 10)

The problem is, I think they're trying to coordinate the colors for each forum with it's respective magazine. The Fence has green, the Builders Blue. Not sure about Threads and the Woodworkers. We're stuck with orange, but maybe they can tweak the color a bit.

I normally hang out at Knots, (post #68191, reply #4 of 10)

I normally hang out at Knots, it looks like our upgrade is delayed again. What really bothers me about the colors is that the text is a shade of gray. After reading a couple of posts I have to move on. Is anybody else having a problem with the gray text color?

Please, please, please change the text color to black.

Yes, the "grey" text is off (post #68191, reply #5 of 10)

Yes, the "grey" text is off putting also. It is VERY tiresome to the eyes all together.

So far, you would all prefer (post #68191, reply #6 of 10)

So far, you would all prefer a darker color. I was just over at BT and their blue is not dark, but more readable.

Dark Blue. I'm not seeing (post #68191, reply #7 of 10)

Dark Blue. I'm not seeing the significance of matching a color to a forum, as your going to know right away which one your in.

Edit: Remember we went through this color thing before? LOL

But, but, it's SUPPOSED to taste like that!

I know, Adele! Dark blue (post #68191, reply #8 of 10)

I know, Adele! Dark blue would be nice. Not all art has to match the sofa.....:)

The stark white background is (post #68191, reply #9 of 10)

The stark white background is a real killer. The messages that are on the grayish background are much less harsh. Even the orange is more readable on the gray, though far from ideal. As for the ink, any dark color would be better than the orange. And what's with all this white around the edges? Just waiting for more ads!!

It is easy to read dark print (post #68191, reply #10 of 10)

It is easy to read dark print on a very light, preferably white, background. The bigger the contrast between the print color and background color, the easier it is toread.
