Evelyn in Boston
Anyone in the Boston area want to get together with Evelyn when she is here in July? She'll be staying at my house while she is here, which is 1.5 hours west of Boston, but we'll be going in to Boston for at least a few day trips. I figure her son will like the Science Museum, maybe another day the Aquarium--from the Aquarium isn't it a fairly easy walk over the Fanuel Hall?? It's been so long since I've been in Boston, I forget. I'll also probably take Yanni to a Paw Sox game one day.
Anyway, we could do dinner in Boston, or out in the 'burbs. Blue Ginger is always good. For anyone up for an adventure in the country, there's a couple of good restaurants out here.

And, if y'all don't mind dog/cat/horse hair and dust and animal nose prints on the windows, etc, you're welcome to come out to my little farmette for a visit.
Obviously, plans are up in the air right, but anyone who wants to join in or meet up with us, please let us know!

July might be a possibility for me in/near Boston...depends on my work travel schedule, mostly.

I do want to visit with you and evelyn...and anyone else! My time frame is a bit sketchy. When evelyn returns to your area from DC would be good for me...I hope. I don't even know if I will have a vehicle...I'll probably be on the bus to Boston, Concord Trailways or the Vermont bus. Keep us posted on the itinerary.
Your farmette sounds lovely!

you didn't! It WAS a prank. Obviously, I can't do pranks very well, because here I am, coming over. ;-) Can you make it to Ottawa?

I am so pleased for you, Evelyn. You truly deserve a break and a rest, although from the look of the plans you may have to return home to get any rest! lol
I would dearly love to come to Ottawa but these days I can hardly afford to get to Fredericton,NB an hours drive away. From the first time I"met" you on CT I knew you were someone I would love to meet in person.
Is Ottawa where you were brought up?
You are going to have soooo much fun!

I grew up in Montreal and Ottawa, Deb, but Ottawa is always 'home' (strangely, my formative years were in Montreal). You're right about the trip being hectic, which is why I'm really thinking out what I can reasonably do and not come home suffering from exhaustion.LOL

We made her feel so guilty for pranking us and getting us all excited, she decided to come. :-)

Oh, I already met her last year at London-fest. Can't wait to see her again! And, meet her son, Yanni. :-)
