Scallops recipe from MC

Making a praise for this recipe from MC

Delicious! My only madmomming of it: instead of searing the scallops, and serving with the sauce spooned over, I seared them and brushed them with the marinade while they were still in the hot pan (also, I did not use skewers, just turned them quickly one by one)

The marinade has a lot of sugar, it gave this amazingly rich dark golden color, and intense flavor.

Served over a very simple angel hair pasta with lemon zest - which brings me to the cookbook I recently bought: Lemon Zest! Love it, love it, love it. I was lucky enough to get it in the mail while hubby was out running an errande.... he, he, he.... slipped that one by!
