Refrigerate Lime Curd
I made lime curd for Christmas gifts. Does it need to be put in refrigerator? How long will it keep? I plan to take them to work. I am wondering if it will keep throughout the day. Thanks in advance.

Yes, it needs to be (post #71559, reply #1 of 3)
Yes, it needs to be refrigerated. If you are keeping it for them to take home, you need an ice chest.
Thanks. (post #71559, reply #2 of 3)

I agree with Gretchen-- although the acidic pH will stabilize the curd somewhat, it is better to refrigerate it. What recipe do you use?
I'm just chiming in to say that I envy those lucky curd-eaters on your holiday list! I make CookiMonster's Honey Carmels for gifts:

Do you may anything else? I've also made Traci's Almond Toffee ( http://www.cookstalk.info/hazelnut_butter_toffee.htm), or Greweling's Almond Buttercrunch, but am too busy this year.
