Joni, I've found many ice cream recipes, but not blueberry. I did, however, find a blueberry sorbet, so let me know if you'd like to try it. I would think you could improvise, substituting blueberries for other fruit in ice cream recipes. As in everything, I think TASTING IT AS YOU GO is the key. Make sure you like the flavor BEFORE you freeze it, and if you don't, adjust it - even if you are following a recipe.

You know, I have been ignoring this thread, since I have only made ice cream once or twice, but I just remembered that one of those times I did try to make blueberry icecream. I made the mistake of putting in whole blueberries - the froze rock-solid and you could pretty much break a tooth on them in the finished ice cream. I suggest making a blueberry syrup, or at least mash the suckers up before you add them. The only commercial blueberry ice cream I have ever seen was Haagen-daaz "Blueberry sorbet and cream" , which was wonderful. It was blueberry sorbet swirled with plain vanilla ice cream, and the difference in textures was really cool. I suggest that you get a blueberry sorbet recipe and try that. Let us know how it turns out.

See links posted under Pistachio Ice Cream topic. I'm too lazy to post them again.

Which by the way, includes a Parmesan Cheese Ice Cream! So they must have EVERYTHING!
