Manhattan Clam Chowder

I just finished making Jasper White's Manhattan Clam Chowder and it smells just wonderful!  I did make a change,  I added a couple of teaspoons of tomato paste since I was using fresh tomatoes and not canned.  I just wanted a little more tomato to my chowder. 


By the way, I ordered a used copy of his book and I was so surprised that it is so "new"...all for $1.96 plus shipping.  Almost $5.00!
