I was pleased to see the Adam Perry Lang recipes on the FC site and just want to add that his books are on my wish list, Serious Barbecue is at the top of the list.  I have made a few recipes from the book, the most recent is the Bone-in Pork Butt with Green Apple and Crushed Hot Red Pepper, an absolutely fantastic recipe, but you have to dedicate a good amount of time for the barbecue, almost a religious experience here in the south.

I've made his recipe for "bowl of red", the chicken thigh recipe, shrimp cocktail, and have on the to do list, clinched and planked shrimp, flat iron and NY strip steaks.   The list is a long one, but we love cooking on the new Primo grill and APL's recipes are perfect for the now grilling duet as DH is now very excited about grilling. and I love to share the work for a change.  I teasingly tell him, sure fine, I do all the prep work and you get all the credit, oh well, love to have the company for a change. 

Notes...I sure can't figure why the pictures came out so large, but enjoy!
