French term for frog legs

Google translates "frog legs" as cuisses de grenouille. Is this how the French refer to the food?

Yes, why do you wonder about (post #71321, reply #1 of 4)

Yes, why do you wonder about it?  There are some excellent French food glossaries available, notably Patricia Wells.  A real food glossary for dining from a French menu is necessary since there is often not a good translation for food terms in a regular dictionary.

It's nothing to do with (post #71321, reply #2 of 4)

It's nothing to do with cooking. I volunteered to cut green cardstock into frog legs for a children's crafts project at the library. I'm cross-eyed from cutting out 150 of them with scissors and had a whimsical urge to draw a French chef's hat and cuisses de grenouille on the package.
