Freezing Okra

Help, PLEASE!  I have discovered a great local source for fresh okra (right off the farm) and would love to freeze some for winter use.  Does anyone have any experience with freezing okra that they can share?

You can't freeze it raw.  It has to be tipped and blanched first, the placed in freezer bags for freezing.

Thanks for the advice.  We really like okra and it's never very attractive in the local groceries, so I thought I'd try to preserve the local farmer's bounty for the winter.
