Braised artichokes
I made the braised artichokes and the shaved artichoke salad out of the current issue and like both of them. One of the fun things was that for dinner I found myself topping my French bread with the arugula and shaved artichoke...yummy. Then today, I had French bread topped with brie, braised artichoke, and a little cracked pepper. Great lunch.
I sure got my money's worth out of those 9 baby artichokes and a new appetizer or two.

Baby artichokes rule... (post #69777, reply #1 of 2)
I agree, those baby artichoke recipes are great and your posts look excellent, especially the photo of the braise. Wait until you try the fritatta, it is also excellent. Is there a season for baby artichokes?
