Shortbread tart crust (post #63744)


I made the warm mocha tart with the shortbread crust from "Bittersweet" and had a problem. The crust welded itself to the bottom of the tinned steel tart pan. I never had a problem with the 1-2-3 doughs. The instructions did not mention using a non-stick pan, parchment, Pam spray, etc. Does shortbread dough normally cause this problem? Advice appreciated. Thanks.
