Made the rustic tart with peaches Sunday. Of course, I had to substitute: no milk, so 1,5 tablespoon creme fraiche mixed with water did it. Added a scraping of vanilla seeds to the fruit and topped the tart with brown sugar.


Well, it was delicious! I think I will just stick to creme fraiche in the future, it was rich and very flaky. The only dissappointment was the brown sugar topping, it did not look as pretty as turbinado sugar or even regular sugar would have. Tasted great otherwise.
