Question (post #65199)

I'm hosting a get-together for All Saint's Day; as part of that celebration I want to put messages inside cupcakes (much like a messages inside a fortune cookie).  Is this possible?  Must I use a special paper.  Anyone got an answer?

Write it on parchment paper.

You could put the parchment message in the bottom of the cup and pour the batter on top.

Candilady:  I like your idea best, i.e., putting the message on parchment on bottom of each cupcake, then pouring batter in; I think it will work because I'll be using paper cupcake forms and can turn the message face down.    Thanks for all the answers -- Gretchen, Biscuit, etc.

Hmmm - I would write it on parchment, use food color pens, bake the cakes, cool, cut a slit in the top, push the folded parchment inside, THEN frost them - the frosting/glaze will cover up the slit you cut.

P.S.  Yes, not only possible, but really cute!
