I just paid $1.99 for a 9oz. container of unsweetened cocoa at Trader Joe's - best price I've seen lately. I haven't tried their cocoa but thought I'd get the word out if anyone is doing a lot of baking.
Will report back re: quality after giving it the brownie test.
Cheers, Sue B.

Heh. I almost bought some of that, then I chickened out. The container reminded me too much of Hershey and the checker hadn't used it, so couldn't provide any insights.
Do, please, let us know!

The Hershey DARK cocoa is very good. Don't forget they bought Scharffenberger.

I was unaware Hershey made a dark, but will try it, in the interest of my tight budget.
And that Scharffenberger deal is something I try very hard not to think about.

Hershey's has upgraded their offerings, at least by wrapping.
