I need help every time I bake a cake the center rises a lot in middle no matter what type of cake it is. Does anyone have any idea's to stop this?

One thing you might try is using the cake thingies made by Wilton (wish I could remember the name).  They are soaked in water and wrap around the outside of the pan.  The problem is that the outside of the pan is much hotter than the center, so it cooks first, leaving the middle to rise.  You might also check your oven temperature.  I haven't tried it, but wonder if baking the cakes in sort of a water bath might help?

I have had my oven temp. checked it is correct i stoped using convection and have also tried the strips nothing seems to work thanks tho

I wonder if you are mixing the batter too long and putting too much air in the batter.
