This new format - update

OK, Sean, I'm starting to get used to the new format and I almost like it.
There are a couple of things that would help:
*Having the "read subscriptions" activity also clear my new messages list. The way it is, I read my subscriptions and then have to go to new messages to clear them out again.
* As you mentioned, allowing attachments.
*Putting "subscribe" at the top of the page, as well as at the bottom.
*It would also be less confusing, if all of the messages showed up at once when I read a subscription. Instead it takes me back for each one. Hard to see the big picture that way.
*I still need a way to have a different name for the sewing ladies. They just don't understand.

In general, I think you have done a great job with this site. Thanks.

I love the RED indications of new messages...easy on the eye.

Amen and raise the flag! This is my one and only beef with the new format. It drives me crazy having to go back to the previous message almost every time I read a new post. That is the only way I can figure out what the heck the person is referring to.

Mean Chef's point #4 is my biggest beef now too.
And I miss Mean Gardener too. :(
Otherwise I'm finally getting used to this format too. In fact, I think I'm addicted. Is there a twelve step program handy?

How did you get those bullets MC? I have tried making a new paragraph (pressing Return), adding a space and typing the * character--which I thought were the instructions given. (I was trying to place ingredients on separate lines; after an hour of this, I'm asking for help.)

tia,
kai

I couldn't get it to work following the directions either. But it seems to work by just simply putting an * before the first word of the line
