Lost wonderful recipe!
Hi,
I am looking for a recipe that was in a holiday issue that I have misplaced. It was a brownie layer cake with whipping cream and raspberries between the layers. Does anyone have that recipe???? It was the best!
Thanks.
Gudi

Hi, gudi, and welcome to CT. I'm sure someone has that recipe and can post it for you. If not, I'll type it in. Stick around.

Actually the cake doesn't have any "fat"/butter.

>>>Actually the cake doesn't have any "fat"/butter.<<<
Am I reading the same recipe as you? The one with butter and eggs in the cake layers, whipping cream and butter in the glaze and mascarpone and whipping cream in the sauce?

1 oz. (2 Tbs.) unsalted butter
8 oz. good-quality bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped
1/4 cup strong coffee or whiskey, or a mix
7 large eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Confectioners' sugar for dusting
I was being more than a bit facetious, of course, but there is "only" 2TBS butter in the cake part which is what I commented on.

And, the raspberries are fruit, so that's good for you.
