A few years back there was an issue that had an article about renting apartments somewhere in southern France (I think in the town of Uzes???) . I'm going in October but I can't seem to find that issue. Can anyone help??

If it is that long ago, it might need an update.  He should look for the gites website--something like www.gites.fr   probably. Or google for gites.
